Navigating HIV

The Skin Deep partnered with ViiV Healthcare and GCI Health to create a special series of our globally reknowned “{THE AND}” video series, exploring the relationships between healthcare providers and people living with HIV.

This international production, taking place in two countries, showcased The Skin Deep’s ability to craft unique, highly-compelling video content that shines a light on unexpected or unexplored relationships.

The result was a multi-month series of moving conversations, shared across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and more, that are full of profound moments of connection, deepening empathy, and an expansion around the conversations regarding the treatment and care of people navigating life with HIV.

Netflix: Will & Harper

The Skin Deep partnered with Netflix to create a limited release special edition of {THE AND} to celebrate and amplify the release of the Will & Harper documentary, a film which follows Will Ferrell and Harper Steel, close friends of 30 years, after Steele comes out as a trans woman. The two decide to embark on a cross-country road trip to process this new stage of their relationship in an intimate portrait of friendship and transition..

The special set of questions we developed specifically for the promotion of this film explore themes of friendship through transition, deeper empathy, understanding and dialogue around gender identity.

The project included development of custom tailored questions, box and card designs, and integration into a promotional gift set.

Baileys

In partnership with the team at Baileys, and in collaboration with Hunter PR, The Skin Deep created and launched a brand new, limited-edition, co-branded edition of {THE AND} for Valentine’s Day alongside their all new Baileys Chocolate Liquer.

The final product became {THE AND} RELATIONSIP Goals Edition. A custom set of 52 all new, unique, and fun provoking cards that created a lighthearted connection for Valentine’s Day and Gen Z dating culture overall.

These cards were used both within retail stores, being paired with Baileys products, as well as being sold directly to consumers directly by The Skin Deep.

Baileys also produced a Valentine’s Day centric series of highly-viral social media videos, based on the The Skin Deep’s {THE AND} video format, using the cards and people dating.

Unfinished Festival

The Skin Deep partnered with Unfinished Festival to deliver {THE AND} Live Experience in Bucharest, Romania in September of 2023. Set against the historic backdrop of Bucharest's House of Ideas, the eighth edition of Unfinished festival invited visitors to explore the power of silence in our increasingly chaotic world.

The festival weaved together an eclectic program of artistic expression and mindful experiences and as a headlining part of this experience {THE AND} Live, with founder of The Skin Deep, Topaz Adizes, created interactive performances that provided an intimate space for the audience to experience {THE AND} both as a participant, and director, in a low pressure and fun environment to explore what connects us with surprising and unexpected results.

These two high energy, interactive experiences anchored the first and last evenings of the Festival, bringing together hundreds of people each night.
